Belinda is passionate about quality health care. She is interested in all areas of general practice and enjoys working with people on their health journey in a compassionate and integrated manner.
Belinda graduated from ANU Medical School in 2010 and completed her RACGP Fellowship training in 2014. She has since worked as a GP in Brisbane and Perth, including roles as a medical educator for medical students and GP Registrars. She has also completed a Diploma in Child Health through Westmead Children’s Hospital.
Belinda returned to Canberra in January 2022 and enjoys keeping active with family. She has two young children and loves being in nature, including bush walking, bike riding and gardening.

Fred loves teaching; he is involved in training medical students and future general practitioners. Fred is interested in all areas of general practice. He has particular interest in families, children's health, men's health and travel medicine. He really believes in providing genuine care and clinical excellence.
Fred completed medicine at the Australian National University.
He thinks Canberra is one of the best places in the world.
Fred relishes being outdoors. He loves hiking, cycling and travelling, and often tries to combine all three. On the weekends, you may spot him on one of the beautiful mountains surrounding Canberra. He also enjoys trying to grow things and cooking a new recipe.

Riana has a reputation for being a kind, gentle and caring GP. She enjoys seeing those who are elderly, those receiving palliative care and people with a variety of chronic medication conditions such as diabetes and arthritis. She loves children and making them feel comfortable during their visit.
She has experience working in South Africa, Mozambique, and rural South Australia.
She assists in training rural doctors and is an examiner in the final GP fellowship exams.

ABOUT
John practices in all areas of general practice with special interests in sports medicine, paediatrics, men’s health and minor surgery, including tongue tie release. He does a Thursday and Friday morning vasectomy clinic at the YourGP@Crace theatre, see canberravasectomy.com.au for more details.
From the moment John started General Practice in 2003, he desired to one day open an outstanding practice. He is passionate about providing amazing health care to patients.
John loves sport and was previously an Australian school decathlon champion. He played for the St George Dragons, the Sydney City Roosters and Sydney University Rugby while studying.
John is a devoted IT geek and keeps the practice up to date with technology.
John graduated from the University of NSW in 2000.
John and Mel have three gorgeous children. They have a strong Christian faith.

Mel enjoys all areas of general practice with special interests in paediatrics, women’s health, pregnancy care and mental health.
Mel loves being a GP and a practice owner. Along with her husband John, she is passionate about developing YourGP to better fulfil the vision of ‘genuine care, clinical excellence’. She feels privileged to work alongside such an amazing team of doctors, nurses and administrative staff.
She enjoys walking in Canberra, especially where there are views of the beautiful Brindabella mountain ranges.

Freya has a Diploma in Paediatrics (Westmead Children’s Hospital). She has special interests in paediatrics and women’s health. Freya has a passion for teaching and is a medical educator for local GPs in training and medical students.
Freya chose general practice as she was interested in everything and didn’t want to narrow down to one speciality. She loves hearing people’s stories. She started working at YourGP@Lyneham as a registrar in her last year of training in 2015. On finishing she decided to continue at Lyneham as she has enjoyed caring for our patients and the professional, warm and supportive atmosphere of the practice.
Outside of work she enjoys reading and writing fiction, singing and ice-skating.
Freya is a graduate of the University of Sydney in 2011.

Joanna enjoys all areas of general practice, and finds establishing long lasting relationships with patients very rewarding. She has special interests in paediatrics, women’s health, antenatal care, and preventative health. She has completed a Diploma of Child Health with Westmead Children’s Hospital.
Joanna completed her undergraduate studies at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) before moving to Canberra for her postgraduate medical degree at the Australian National University.
Having lived in Canberra for the past 8 years, she now considers Canberra home.
In her spare time she enjoys nature walks, getting lost in a good book, trying out new recipes, and travelling.

Corina worked in NSW, Victoria and Queensland prior to returning to her home town of Canberra. She has significant experience working in Emergency Medicine and as a generalist in rural communities.
Outside of work, Corina enjoys yoga and chasing after her young children.

Heike has a special interest in children’s health and women’s health. She has special expertise in intra uterine devices for long term contraception. She has completed a Diploma in Paediatrics (Westmead Children’s Hospital).
Her family grew up on an orchard in Far North Queensland and she loves to grow things, from vegetables to bee-keeping. She keeps active with walking and yoga.
Heike is a Graduate of the University of QLD in 2003. She completed several years of paediatric specialist training before deciding to become a GP.
Heike moved to YourGP@Lyneham from Jervis Bay in 2014 for her husband to take a lecturing position in painting at the School of Art. Heike has two children.
